About this Page: We’re getting ever closer to the end of unit 1 and I can’t be more thrilled LOL. I love my George Perkins Marsh illustration. All of the reference photos I found have him scowling, as smiling wasn’t a thing back then (when it came to photography). But then I tried to imagine him Snapchatting himself and it made me laugh, so I tried my best. Seriously though, you need to read up about this George Perkins Marsh guy. His creds are like….seriously impressive. I think this topic is incredibly relevant this week as Sweden’s Greta Thunberg defends humanity’s rights to a clean world, in the face of other scowling politicians and corporate energy companies. What an incredible young lady and an inspiration for students everywhere. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I think if Greta and George Marsh were contemporaries, they would be Snapchat besties.
