About this Page:
I love talking about the cultural hearths. I think I have an affinity for them because I also teach World History and every fresh school year we start by addressing WHY these places FIRST. In my experience, I’ve found that you can cover the cultural hearths over the course of 4 school weeks, or in one day-it all just depends on how much time you want to dedicate to the topic. This one is particularly important for Human Geography because it addresses the ways that human adapted to their landscape and culture diffused from the hearths. A big thanks to Dan Harris for my character’s faces and three “traders,” the rest of the page, including the map, was completed by myself. You can help support Dan on Patreon, thus also helping me finish this thing!
