OK, I will try not to use fashion for any more diffusion examples, so for this one I chose yoga! Cultural appropriation or admiration of traditional healing practices? If you’ve read any news lately, you will also find that yoga and it’s gurus can be a bit controversial. Nevertheless, I think I stayed away from any taboo subject for this page. I think I did a good job of illustrating how hierarchic diffusion only impacts particular individuals, instead of potential everyone who has contact (contagious). I circumvented the group in the center to show that not everyone is impacted by a particular cultural exchange.
